The specs aren't for YOU to infer the die size.

This was something I tried to address in my post. The specification is there to provide the customer with the information he needs to know to properly design around the product. If they don't need to know the die size then there's no reason to provide it.

This whole thing could easily be resolved. All TWY needs to do is buy a few chips, crack them open and see for himself.
