wow. This pastor thing will have legs. It's going to turn off a lot of conservative white people. Hate to say it, but it's true. Also, I have a question. Why is a pastor talking politics in church? No church I've ever attended focuses on politics.

That post by Rosenberg shined a light for me..why the hell is Obama's pastor being vetted like this? To me, the vetting of Pastor Wright is an attempt by the hard core racists and KKKs to seize this opportunity to say that blacks are the scum and that all blacks including Obama are part of this scum. Notice though that when White evangelicals like Pat Robertson and extreme right evangelicals make similar remarks, it is no big deal. McCain has embraced such folks, he went to Bob Jones and delivered their commencement to those folks who believe in segregation of the races and it is fine for him to do so. What patriotism do I see from a President who does nothing to contain the price of oil like past Presidents did. I have not seen the patriotism of a President who command people to war and die without taking the pain to verify information or if he did then lie about it. An on and on.
