It will happen now. She's already been weakened by her own party. That wouldn't surprise me either. I got your point earlier. I still think it is an absurd issue. Bill Moyers had a great show tonight which talked about real corruption (the fraud and monetary kind, especially re Iraq and Blackwater, those "Christian" soldiers of fortune), and it apparently got lost with all the hullabaloo over Obama's pastor talking about the US. For some reason, if people say something bad about the US, it must mean they are a traitor or a scumbag. Who could think ill of this great country of ours? That stole millions of acres of land from the native Americans they found here? That forced them into reservations, then moved them out west, then if something of value was found on the land moved them again? That proclaimed liberty for all and enslaved blacks? That adamantly refused to free the slaves and were only forced to do it by a bloody war? Who could say anything bad about a country that, after the war, effectively declared war on blacks, then forced segregation on them and had it declared legal by the highest court of justice in the land, legal right into the 1950s? And when it was declared illegal, violence followed. Who could say anything bad about a country that is incredibly wealthy, but thinks it is reasonable to have impoverished ghettoes in its midst where drugs flow freely and even armed police are wary of going? I won't bother getting into more modern stuff or the currently controversial stuff.
