Mq, the Japanese and Chinese own enormous amounts of USD. It is in their self interest to minimize losses by bucking up the buck. It is that simple.

Nonetheless, at some point it makes sense for them to act in their self interest by cutting losses.

At what point a bucking up the buck strategy is replaced by a cutting of losses is a mystery to me. But it will be a momentous day, financially speaking. A financial re-set. It seems that we are headed in that general direction.

If re-set occurs, I wish to be in gold, Yen, and Swissies, not in Q.

By the way, your Q rant left me thinking that you had in so many words told the tale of tortoise and the hare, with Q as the hare and gold as the tortoise.
