Even if real value is discounted by 90% to get to some measure of what might be serious exposure, it is a huge sum.

Hi Vi,

Credit swaps are very well collateralized and only offered to those with assets and stellar credit.

You can not tie investment bankers and CDO with risky and fraudulently bogussed mortgages with the well collateralized cresdit swaps created by BANKs not investment banks/brokers.

It is an incorrect/unfair correlation to label swaps as equally risky as the CDO's were.
