I have to tell you it wasn't just the small guys pumping the junk. The banks themselves drank the cool-aid and jumped in whole hearted. They had to, they we're losing a ton of biz.
Even the most conservative banks around jumped in the game.
Obviously, some of the big names drank more than others.
Many large banks helped fuel the fire....don't kid yourselves.

I would not lump this SOLELY on the small & corrupting bad guys...
The big boyz played an important part & they knew it would end badly... though they did not plan on being part of the story when it hit the fan.
