Thanks to my friends (and enemies, sometimes) on SI, things have got steadily better for me for the last seven years. I get almost all my investment income in Canadian dollars, have invested heavily in commodities, and have owned (too long and too many) bear funds. The declining dollar has not hurt me and indeed has worked in my favor. If I could arrange to get Social Security payments in Chinese yuan, I would.
