After watching as many Obama interviews as I could last night, and coming to the conclusion it was the most hilarious cya performance I've ever seen from a politician, I've come to the conclusion that he is a terrible actor.

It is surprising considering his public appearances where he is so lively and spontaneous, with that genuinely infectious smile, and that long gait, and those tall handsome good looks, and a booming voice that says everything wonderful that hopeful Americans want to hear, all with an air of confidence rarely seen in a public figure so young.

It was all gone by last night when he was forced to explain himself and his 20 year relationship with what is undoubtedly one of the most bigoted men any of us have ever seen.

The confidence was gone, and it is such a rare thing to actually be able to SEE emotion. And no one will ever be able to accuse Barack Obama of being a great communicator, because he certainly is not.

The fire in the belly, spirited Obama was gone. Replaced by a perfect symbol of the 21st Century living breathing autotron on autopilot man.

The animated and passionate Pastor has popped Barack's balloon, and the remnants showered all over poor Barack.

What was left were solemn ramblings about...........well............I just can't say, because by the second interview his weak repudiation of Dr. Wright didn't have me convinced, and his platitudes were worn out, and he spoke so softly with so little conviction, and by that time those of us in the room were laughing so loudly it was impossible to hear him, and no one cared anymore.

"Obama really scares you guys, doesnt' he?"

Pretty much. Obama appeals to the independents. Hillary, not so much. If McCain cannot appeal to a significant number of independents, he doesn't have a chance.

Obama is the right's worst nightmare.......his winning the Dem. nomination and the presidency could be the final nail in the GOP's return to regional party status.
