>But that is how it is being portrayed and that is what most Americans will believe.<<

How can you think most Americans are so judgmental? This is politics, and Obama's opponent is Hillary Clinton. There are ebbs and flows in campaigns. Take a step back and see if this story has legs in a week.

I think you are being naive about who Americans are.....its a majority of Americans who elected Bush to the presidency twice. They went along with a war in Iraq that any person with a brain knew was a joke. They play into every fear the right parades in front of them. I don't have a lot of confidence that Americans will choose to look through this Wright crap and get it right. Before Wright, Obama lost OH. What do you think will happen now in PA?

I hope you are right. But there is Ohio to tell us that you may not be. I mean, we can't vote for someone who's a Muslim and who's pastor says we live in the U S of KKK f_ing A. That's what the white folks in Ohio believed. I think after they repeat this thing a million times, you'll start getting a bunch more white folks thinking he's related to Osama Bin Laden. I don't like it any more than you do, but this thing will have legs.

Hell, I couldn't have imagined something like this. As old as I am, I thought I was old enough. Apparently, John Fowler is older than the rest of us, because he's be skeptical from the beginning. I said it was improbable that Hillary could get the 70% of the remaining super delegates to clinch the nomination. Unfortunately, Pastor Wright just increased that probability dramatically. 70% looks doable for Hillary now.
