"Spitzer was an enemy of corrupt Bushie swindlers in the banking sector and big Wall Street firms so they put a hit on him. " Could be. There are some very odd things about the case. The way the FBI seemed to be waiting specifically for Spitzer because they had enough evidence to shut the ring down long before. And certainly the DOJ is hot to snag some Democrats. There is a story in there somewhere. But, it isn't really relevant. He got busted for doing something that he made a career of nailing other people for.
