That same day, 9/16/2001, GWB was in New York at Ground Zero saying this was about Good versus Evil and describing our response as a crusade.

He described, instinctively, immediately, our "war" in biblical and religious terms. He even referred to the afterlife, saying "those who did this will hear from us".

Two days after I first heard Rev. Wright's comments from that same day, those comments above stand up better than Bush's comments and speak of consequences for actions.

Bush spoke of us versus them, and Wright spoke with a world view.
