LIAR. Bin Laden's early speeches include calls to take out Saddam and replace him with a Taliban type government. Saddam killed millions of Islamic radicals, and Reagan-Rumsfeld armed him and helped him do it. Of course they also armed Iran to kill Iraqis.

There is not a scintila of credible evidence that Saddam had anything to do with Al Qaida, or that Al Qaida had anything going on inside Iraq before Bush's infamous call "bring it on!" which led to a flood of Al Qaida wannabes coming into Iraq to try and kill our troops. That line of Bush's probably cost 5,000 US troops their lives or limbs,

"Aq listed the UN intervention and sanctions against Saddam as one of their justifications for 911."

According to the wikipedia Bin Laden asserted that America was massacring Muslims in 'Palestine, Chechnya, Kashmir and Iraq'. That is not the same as what you are asserting.
