Actually, K, By 85 the first international conference on AIDS was held. The term was first used in 82,(the year Reagan joked about it).
The point being that between the end of Tuskegee (72)and the start of the AIDS epidemic was only ten years- such a brief span of time.
Tuskegee may have begun in 32, but the fact that it survived until 72 is just disgusting.

In the early 80's NO one even knew what AIDS was....by the mid 80's we still thought there was a virus from African monkeys floating around.

Anyone subscribing to the theory that the US Government invented the AIDS virus would be advised to read Laurie Garrett's "The Coming Plague."
