You are correct that is too soon to judge the action. I'm just surprised because it is a sunday and it seems Fed action is becoming a daily occurrence.

Something wicked does not come this way, it has arrived.

PS, I got my notice from the IRS. It says, YOU MADE TOO MUCH AND YOU'LL GET NOTHING AND LIKE IT.

What am I going to do without MY $600? I could starve, and there is no big screen tv in my future.

Yes, if one institution of a given size fails, the economic impact is X. If another of the same size fails at a different time, independently, its impact is also roughly X. But if the two fail at the same time, the impact is much more than 2X.

Nonlinearity. There is something to be said for spreading out the margin calls over time. I just think there are too many to fight it.
