But McCain made a decision to seek Hagee's support and declare Rod Parsley a spiritual adviser AFTER knowning the two preachers' bigotry. In fact, I would argue that McCain turned to Hagee and Parsley BECAUSE they were bigots and had appeal among the fundamentalist base in the GOP that he needed for support. McCain's embrace of these preachers was far more cynical and wicked than Obama's relationship with Wright. That's an excellent point..hadn't thought of it from that angle.. If people just took the blinders off their own 'horse in the race' self-interest and looked for the real truth, there wouldn't be all this feigned furor and outrage.. Edit: I can't say enough how dangerous Michael Cummings et. als., dissemination of this outrage is for Barack Obama and his family...Besides the utter hypocrisy given the history of White preachers(personally and professionally), it's the physical well being of Obama, his wife and 2 young daughters that is at stake during this time.. So Michael et. al, please stop..and work in positive ways for your candidate..
