Recently around SI I was discussing 401k and the terrible options available to me. Guess which one I have been giving 20% of the 15% 401k contributions to?

VANGUARD/WINDSOR II 8,358,352 7.08 $949,508,787 31-Oct-07

Yep, yay me. That should take a fair hit tomorrow. Funnier still is looking at the top holdings of the vanguard windsor II from the 401k portal:
YTD Return (03/14/2008) -13.16%
^^^ Most funds available to us are in a YTD return of -10% to -20%.

Top Ten Holdings 3 as of 12/31/2007
Occidental Petroleum Corporation
Imperial Tobacco Group PLC ADR
Altria Group Inc.
AT&T, Inc.
ConocoPhillips
Bank of America Corporation
Verizon Communications Inc.
J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
Citigroup, Inc.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company

I guess they are a big holder of BSC, but not as big as the others. Maybe the JPM can have some offsetting affect. The C and T are not so hot in there.
