Glad to see Americans don't like hate speech..woulda been worried had those stats been different.. Look for a major speech by Obama..he's not going to let Hillary and the GOP spreading cherry-picked data about him destroy his candidacy without a firm push back.. Edit: whether his push back will be enough is still unknown..I have no illusions that this has hurt his candidacy in the GE..

I dont think for one minute that obama holds wrights views however, if he is to either get the nomination or win in november, he needs to be more forthcoming. Some folks here are in denial. Rather than be in denial they should be urging obama to speak on this more forthrightly than he has. Unlike bush, this is obamas great strength and i think he still has time to craft a well received national address. Explain the african american history and then say that we are beyond race in the USA. Either we are beyond race or we are not. Black racism should be no more acceptable in obamas world that white racism. And even guys like Wright or even Mrs. Obama should be contrite and accept the fact that some of the good things they do are often overshadowed by their contreversial language. I am rooting for obama to be more than another ordinary politician. I am rooting for him to succeed.
