You got it backward. Obamas not a priest--he is a parishoner at a church where many ordinary americans feel that he should have spoken out against some of the rantings of his minister. There is anger in the ministers tone and i sort of heard it from Mrs. Obama as well. And obama did stop wearing the american flag pin which he had worn. Obama, me, you--hell all of us have to come to terms with the anti message on one hand and black history on the other. I still think obama can be that transforming figure if he can seize this moment. Anyone who saw Tiger sink the 25 footer on the 18th hole yesterday at what used to be a game for white only, can expect obama to hit the homerun in the next few days to use another overused sports metaphor.

Another irony/contradiction..preWright, Obama was getting skewered by his critics for all speech and no beef..these people couldn't care less about his rhetoric.. Now he's getting skewered by those same critics for speeches by his pastor..you can't have it both ways..or should I say ways that only benefit your agenda..except michael(small m)..His criticism I welcome whole-heartedly because he's proven here that his only agenda is to find the truth of who's best qualified to be Potus...
