I am wondering what bank(s) are the safest in the world right now ... not HSBC, not Standard Charter, not Bank of China ....... come on ........ pawn shops ??? I even believe boom.com is not safe too, with US broker behind the scene

I wish you wouldn't attribute things like "it is systemic and ethnic" to me, although I have no idea what it is you think you said. I don't believe in ethnicity. I do believe in culture, but who doesn't? The concept of ethnicity is intriguing, but not really useful when examining actual individuals, and thus, must be discarded. It really doesn't give us anything that culture doesn't give us, better.

Anyway, I fully admit that my opinions about the future aren't worth very much. I fully expected today to be one of those days upon which the hinges of history turn. It may well be but not for the observation of peasants like me. It's a lovely early spring day, blue sky, warm air, if there is slaughter behind the scenes and blood pouring into the ditches of the abattoirs I can't see it. A good day to eat corned beef and cabbage and drink Irish whiskey. And the world continues on as it ever has.
