The Founders wanted our press to be able to take down corrupt presidents didn't work, the RIGHT media tried to take down Kennedy, Kerry, SHillary and Slick Willie, but they are still around.

The rightwing media is a violation of free speech. The only violation of free speech is your un-American idea they should be silenced - try a valid/substantive argument once in awhile. PS: It appears FoxNews is taking down that racist preacher supporting obama - which matches your definition of the purpose of free speech. :-)

Thanks for confirming that the fascist wing of the Democratic party doesn't approve of free speech for conservatives: The rightwing media is a violation of free speech. When the Founders set up Free Speech and encouraged a strong independent press, they did not mean a strong partisan propaganda machine .............. Besides, rightwing radio is now a monopoly in much of the country and that's blatantly illegal and un-American. People at least need a choice. Though I would also say we need to find a way to make smear campaigns criminal.
