A cheap compound that is hard to distinguish from Heparin have been added. It appears to have been a profit motivated adulteration. This would be similar to the KC pharmacist that was adulterating Chemotherapy drugs because he was not rich enough.

It was interesting that German authorities were quick to use what Americans discovered to pull it off their market.

This should scare everyone that wants to re-import drugs.
