Michael..did you read the "Audacity to Hope" speech that I posted here?..Wright did not do his hating every Sunday..wow, what a bizarre statement because it makes it seem like I condone his vitriol every once in a while which I'm on record here from this w/e as denouncing and rejecting it.. Of course I'm troubled by this relationship..but Obama's life works and writings are in stark contrast to Wright's vitriol..and yes, I do believe that he has to do more to make it clear to Americans re: where he stands.. PS..That church has family time services and Obama's elder daughter is 9 years old..my money is on the fact that Obama went to these in the past decade. More to the point is that there's more here than meets the eye..it could be as simple as Wright having become a father figure to Obama..tender, loving, caring but with some ugly and sharp edges..sounds like a dad countless Americans can relate to... PS..Why aren't we hearing, "wow, Obama by his rhetoric and actions is repudiating his own pastor?" PPS..dog is driving me crazy..headed out....
