I tried to short MER earlier today....didn't get it.
I think the FED will slide them (LEH, MER, etc) some liquidity, just to keep things orderly and we'll never hear about it till next year.

I mean, with all the bad news the Dow is only down 40pts.....PPT working 4xOT. I think the FED does .75...they don't have the balls to do .50 IMHO...who knows it's a crazy time!

Look what you're saying. What does "saving gunpowder" connote? Don't you see that that is the thinking that must be broken.
