Nortel's business is doing fine, they actually made money in previous quarter. The problem is the debt/dilution and the pending lawsuits.

Nortel is ridiculously cheap right now, if one assumes the company can weather the recession that seems to have arisen. With a price/sales of .23 and selling less than book value, Nortel has only to stay on track in increasing margins and getting some modest revenue growth. Maybe easier said than done in present climate, but if management pulls it off, stock price will inflate considerably. I'm long, and (nervously) watching and waiting.

Best, Mark
