I agree with you. That article held some truth in it, but most economists believe that the price of oil is now very high in large part due to the weakness of the dollar. It'd be interesting to see how the price of oil has fluctuated in Euros. Probably not nearly as much as it has in dollars.

Someone once told me that if you wanted to know what a person's goals were, then don't go by what they tell you, go by their plans and their achievements. In this case, the talking heads like Bush and our Treasury tells us that they are for a strong dollar. And yet, every action they take weakens the dollar. This country has an official weak dollar policy. Don't let anyone tell you differently.
