"No, no. The economy is not growing, nor has it been growing."

Now c'mon - the recession may have just started. The economy has been growing. Debt may be a reason for the growth - but it has been growing. Again I ask - what is the solution? We all know the problem!

Excellent post.

There's a short story by Stephen King entitled Survivor Type from a book of his short stories, Skeleton Crew.

To me, this particular short story is something of a metaphor for the current state of the economy as well as the process that brought the economy to the state it's in.

You'd enjoy it, I bet.
