That is hardly the case. Wind/Solar/Biofuels/tidal/nuclear/conservation are all DOMESTIC energy developments. .......The one that isn't is oil.

Bob -

Who's biased against domestic energy development? I think the bias is against viewing energy development as being all about oil.

The Bush administration is clearly biased to think that energy=oil (and to a lesser extent, coal and natural gas). Hence the fact that pretty much the only people Dick Cheney talked to about developing the administration's energy policy were oil people.

I don't think it does represent 80% of the issue. But whatever the percentage is its pretty large.

I take it you think the trade deficit is a very big problem?
