I'm glad to hear you don't claim to be trying to justify Wright's hate speech. For if that were your purpose you certainly went about it in a strange manner. Today on this thread, you've:

1) Compared Obama's church to the Aryan Nations and "Identity" movements:

They are out there:
aryannations.org;

query.nytimes.com

religioustolerance.org

"If there was a single church where the kind of things that are on Obama's church website, we would have heard about it long ago...."

2) Admitted Obama's church is not "any better" than the Aryan Nations and Identity movements:

It's much more understandable from a people who were literally brought here in chains, and kept in slavery for a good long while, than it is from the "master race". Understanding doesn't make it any "better", of course.

3) Admitted you think Obama has lied about what he knew about the hate speech of his long time friend and spiritual mentor:

I'm sure he did know.

After that exercise in understanding, I'm sure you would agree such a person shouldn't be the Presidential nominee of a major American political party.

After all, understanding is not justifying or excusing is it.
