Hi RJA, Thank you so much for the detailed response! It really is a different world, isn't it? I don't know if California has sales tax (where I live) or how to find a reputable dealer...are there any online sources that are reputable? Any thoughts on Kitco? I'm curious, as you say you wait out downturns and I assume, have generally held on to your position--is it very easy to sell? Will the dealer you work with purchase the gold back from you at $1000 + an ounce? Just wondering how practical a matter it is to liquidate? Kate
