It was quite predictable that the latter's hateful sermons (which were recorded and marketed) would become an issue. What's obvious to us may have been unseen by him. He had been around them for so long he must not have realized how out of line they were. I don't recall a Pol whose persona was so separated from whom he really was.

Heard a bit of Medved today...he reminded people of the letter that Obama supposedly wrote as a young child, wanting more than anything to become POTUS. Seems there was some dustup with Hillary about it. When we really stop to think of it, Obama has been gearing himself from childhood on to become president. Why then, with all the churches in Chicago did he gravitate and stay with this one? Unless they are ALL this way....white, black, green, pink...or whatever. Is it common these days for a pastor to rant and rave and hate America and what it stands for? To lie about 9-11? To lie about AIDS? Do ALL pastors do this? What have Obama and his family heard for the last 20 years? Do we truly want a man to be President who has been filled with such rage for at least 20 years....to say nothing of what might have been the case in his childhood?
