Didn't Morgan just write off 300 billion or something like that? I know one of the b ig ones just did. And Carlyle Group, the best-connected firm to Bush-Cheney, just wrote off 200 billion. Lehman Brothers is supposed to be in big trouble and could be next. Can'tg put lipstick on this pig. Bushies looted our economy, and it proves once and for all that deregulating the corporate world doesn't work. They will always abuse and exploit deregulation. Because they are amoral. They only care about profits. Nothing else. They are not patriots. They are self-serving mechanisms. Which is why they would gladl;y send your job overseas to make a few extra bucks. And screw over their own country. Just look at how much damage Exxon and Halliburton have done to us. Just enormous thieves. But Bush-cheney made sure that this grand larceny was totally legal and acceptable. And now trillions in our common wealth is gone, outright stolen, from you too, pal.
