Until rates are such that the print button no longer works I guess I'd say the Fed is fine

What do you think....50 beeps, 75 beeps or 100 beeps today?

I really think 50 would be a mistake.

Where they can run out is in lending out treasuries as they have a limited amount. O course they can "print" money though they don't want to do too much of that. If the Fed runs out of things that it wants to do, the next line of defence is the Treasury buying up mortgage junk by issuing new treasury bonds... Fed Balance sheet is in the public domain.
