that too....we discussed that here at some length...

now that the dust is settling, i'm wondering about the legal precedent for a federal reserve bank to in essence bank roll the buy out of a distressed entity, (encouraged and 'signed off' on by the president and the treasury secretary)

last i looked, BSC is a publicly traded corporation....can the fed do the same for say, chrysler? GM? corporation (fill in the blank)?

the shareholders were simply rolled in this buyout and the execs keep billions in bonuses
