No worries Rose. <- do you know any asset class that can take a 5 tril sell-down so that 5 tril of debt can be called in? >

I believe the asset class called derivatives can take a 5 tril sell-down.

For example, there are many short sales of QCOM shares, which can be foreclosed. There are many currency futures contracts which can be liquidated. There are puts which can be called, calls which can be put, mortgages and houses which can be sold, futures which can be presented, and of course, Big Ben can and did toss bales of bucks from helicopters.

I can toss bales of bucks too [albeit Tonka Truck sized bales] as can millions of other people. Each dollar is sitting somewhere, wondering what to buy. When it has bought something, it is still sitting there, in another account, wondering what to buy. $$ never sleep. They need to buy. I am waiting for an opportunity to buy something good, but the deflation I was thinking might be coming is being headed off at the pass by Big Ben and his nefarious plans which he long ago announced.
