I'll have to take a look at the transcript, but the words "personal responsibility" were no where to be found in his speech.

Barack Obama's speech reiterated everything that is wrong with this nation........as if we all need to be reminded........and was strong on that tired old whining we've all become so used to hearing.

All Americans..........Black, White, Brown, Red, Yellow........... need to understand that the only way for them to lift themselves out of poverty or misery is by shedding the burden of anger and defeat. That they each need to work hard and take pride in who they are. Barack Obama is/was the perfect person to do that, but he's proving that he isn't any different than any other liberal that constantly reminds us how hopeless the situation is, and how divided we remain. ........it's like a damned brow beating.

He disappoints!

He also should have publicly demanded that Rev. Wright apologize to the nation for his inflammatory remarks. And he hasn't denounced Rev Wright's comments or beliefs strongly enough imo.

Reverend Wright owes this nation an apology.

He should have reminded us to ask not what our country can do for us........

Barack Obama is no JFK.
