Have you seen this "tent city" in Las Vegas Nevada occupied by people who previously were "home owners" living in bank-owned homes.

cnn.com

This is both sad and hilarious. The McCues bought a lovely home for $250k which appreciated to $500.

They then proceeded to borrow the newly appreciated $250k worth of equity and spend it, leaving them with a mortgage they could not afford. The unbelievable part is that they don't see themselves having any responsibility in their situation - it's all the fault of the lenders! Too funny.

Even more bizarrely grandiose is the way they took the fountain and trellis from their old home and set them up on their camp-site! Mrs. McCue is focused on the fact that she used to have a kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances.

These are Reagan/Bush Republicans. The ding-a-lings that were attracted by the new Republican theme of irresponsibility and debt. We don't have to pay for government services, we'll just borrow the money.

I think these people richly deserve their hard times, which they worked so hard to achieve. Screw them all. They can star in a new film "Grapes of Irresponsibility and Stupidity".
