How's this for energy efficiency? Its not an article about energy efficiency. Your theme for the week seems to be to make some point, and then when someone disagrees support it with data, that might be true, might be interesting, and possibly might be relevant to some other point, but isn't relevant to the statement you originally made. Airlines have indeed increased energy efficiency, but obviously not enough to keep their total energy costs (even in real terms) as low as they used to be.
