He said his "white grandmother" because she frequently used N*word and racial epithets that he certainly did not agree with against blacks.... but it was his grandmother

Did you hear the speech or perhaps just looking for holes to punch...At what i think is Barack's best speech.

"A more perfect Union"
youtube.com

"We can continue on the path of division....some blacks blaming whites....some whites blaming blacks etc"
Or we can say enough and focus on building the nation.

Bill Clinton asks for just $5 to help Hillary in PA

by Jill Zuckman

Former President Clinton has a message for you and all he wants is $5.

The message? Don’t let Sen. Barack Obama wrap up the nomination in Pennsylvania.

“The Obama campaign is already on the air with their first ad in Pennsylvania, putting their fundraising advantage to work,” Clinton writes in an email fundraising message on behalf of his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton. “They're going to spend every dollar they've got to end this race in Pennsylvania, and we can't let that happen.”

Clinton says his wife needs help to get on the air in Pennsylvania to match Obama’s spending advantage. ”In Texas and Ohio, your incredible support kept us competitive, and today this race is close thanks to what you did for Hillary,” Clinton writes.

”Now the Obama campaign is going to do everything they can to try to beat Hillary in Pennsylvania. They're going to try to outspend us 3-1 on the air -- and their first ads are already up and running,” he continues.

Readers may not be surprised to discover that they can make a difference. The former president says a contribution of as little as $5 would go a long way to evening the playing field prior to the April 22 Pennsylvania primary.

Clinton does not mention, however, that his wife currently enjoys a double-digit lead over Obama in Pennsylvania, according to today’s Quinnipiac University poll. The poll shows Hillary Clinton has widened her lead to 53 to 41.

"I am a 29 white woman who grew up in Idaho, incredibly naive about racial difference and the legacy of racism. After college, I spent 3 years in rural Mississippi teaching at an all black high school in one of the most impoverished parts of the nation.

I have lived and worked on both sides of the racial divide and have learned along the way how complicated issues of race, justice, & economic disparity intersect. I have seen fear, mistrust, and racism in the white community as well as fear, mistrust, & racism in the black community.

Obama presents some of the most honest & difficult truths I have ever heard from a politician with candor, humility, & grace."

He is not a perfect man — but he has enormous insight & wisdom. This was a courageous moment in American politics. I can’t conceive of voting for anyone else. Even if his campaign should somehow fail, I consider myself lucky to have heard this speech today & to be part of the generation that has witnessed & worked for his campaign.
