Yes nothing is perfect... but I believe we agree on that which is less perfect in this case .. To me though it appears that the less perfect target was chosen in this case.. and Islamic Jihad has been presented with another fertile nesting ground.. :O)

Scarier is TJ's prediction of the Islamic intrusion into India.. That would make China take notice.. I still contend it may end up being one of the safest places to live ... just don't order pineapple chicken :O)

maurice -

have you read robert fisk's
'the great war for civilisation -
the conquest of the middle east'?

vivid personal reporting and incisive, angry historical analysis make robert fisk's passionate eyewitness account of the events that have shaped the middle east into an unforgettable work. thirty years at the heart of world-shaking events have produced a masterpiece that is personal, tragic and compassionate, a chronicle of the death by deceit of tens of thousands of men and women - muslim, christian and jew - and of the life and work of one of the world's most acclaimed journalists.

fisk is, of course, british.
