The Fed is a political animal, they aren't going to raise rates any time soon.

Each governor was appointed by the current administration.

I'd guess two to four years before unbearable pain sets in. Then the Interest rates must rise, or we'll be getting interest payments on the money we borrow.

I wonder if it will get to the point where it shall cost more to make a dollar than it's worth? We might be there already....

Nah, Cotton has been selling off big time.

Kinda funny when you think about it. The Treasury buys bales of cotton, does a Wizard of Oz routine & turns the Cotton into Dollars, then pays for the cotton with the cotton.
