He is a very typical, liberal politician. absolutely, it was his purpose to blend in and get acceptance to kick off his political ambitions in chicago. He has never suffered economic problems in this country nor his wife. Even though he represented his district in the Chicago area, many of his peer group said he was distant and not engaged in local problem solving. He was punching his ticket to move up in the organization. He tied his cart to the local pastor to advance his own political ambitions imo
