zeta,

The hanging noose story smells. Coincidently (or not), it happened at the same time as some students accused her of plagiarism.

Now, months later, Columbia University concluded their investigation of the plagiarism charges, and officially cited her for plagiarism.

Here is what the noose "victim" said:
“I am left to wonder whether a white faculty member would have been treated in such a publicly disrespectful and disparaging manner,” she wrote. “As one of only two tenured Black women full professors at Teachers College, it pains me to conclude that I have been specifically and systematically targeted.”

This is a nutty world, if you asked me.

Reminder: It's White people who've been hanging nooses on trees and on professor's doorways this past year.

The case is still officially "unsolved". But that apparently did not stop you from jumping to conclusion that "white people" did it.
