Congratulations! I have 5 at this point and it is a blast. Spoil them, fill them with sugar, rev them up and send them home:)

No really they are a blast and you will have a ball.

How delightful that will be for you. You may want to quit work by that time and take care of it if they have to take it to a nursery. Or as I did, take a car bed or porta crib to the office and keep them until they were beginning to start pulling up. At first they mostly sleep and eat every three to four hours, so it was easy for me to do. They did not have the colic so I was lucky it worked so well and they had my full attention when I heard the first movement of them waking up. Just put my phone on "Out of Office" and no one bothered me, but all the other employees knew I was there child attending. I was delighted to be able to bond with them and they were healthy kids not having to be around other babies to catch anything. They had a good start having their GiGi with them all day with much love and direct attention.

Patibob, we both are expecting babies in our families in September, only ours is another great grandchild. Ours is due September 11th and we are hoping it is a girl. We should know soon when she goes for her next ultra sound. You are going to have so much fun shopping for it arrival if you know what they are going to have. The children's clothes are a delight now for either sex. Our greats sleep in the navy blue motor car twin beds and are sharing a room already in anticipation of their new arrival and their nursery room is being redone when they know what the sex is. I am so delighted for you and know first hand the exhilaration of seeing your first sight of it. It is so overwhelming to see that new little life and love just overflows towards them. My tears of joy just flowed and flowed at that. My husband teased me and said I did not do that even when our first was born. It is just altogether different when it is a grandchild or even a great grandchild. I am just so happy for you and your son and daughter-in-law.
