Your just really going to enjoy the grandchild. My oldest is already riding with Grandpa on the golf cart and helping me tee up my ball and stuff. Bought him some clubs for Christmas so he can start hitting balls on the range with me. It's just great fun.

I have half brothers who are considerably younger than me. Something like 22 or 23 years.

This made me chuckle, as I too had the pleasure of telling the other children there would be another sibling early the next year. My oldest was going on 15 at the time and the youngest 7-1/2 and she looked at me to say, "I can't believe you are still doing that?" LOL She would go with me shopping and anywhere else while I was pregnant, but after his birth she would not be seen with me and the baby. Afraid everyone would think it was her child. I told her no they wouldn't as I am the one wearing the wedding rings and she raised her eyebrows and said, "That is just what I mean you are so much older and I am not wearing them". As if to say she thought I was too old to be having a child and anyone else would think it was hers. When the baby was about eighteen months old she and her boyfriend had him out in the front yard playing with him and an elderly neighborhood couple walked by on their daily exercise route and made the comment loudly enough for them to hear, "They get younger and younger every day". She grabbed him up and came running into the house and told me what they said and I just laughed. However, she didn't think it was funny at all and said, "How disgusting they would think that of me". Said it was just too embarrassing for her to respond to them and let them know she heard. They have always been close to each other even with the difference in their ages.
