How about the Fed cutting .75 and the dollar goes UP? That's not the usual direction following that. This market is so manipulated, it really stinks.

Ask yourself - who owns the oil?

Drilling, transportation and other costs for processing oil have not really changed. Maybe the label "oil companies" is not 100% accurate.

My guess. Oil stocks have already run up a lot, and the market doesn't see as much further growth in oil prices from here, partially because of a slowdown in economic growth.
