Compared to the size of the energy market their are no huge oil subsidies. Also to the extent oil is subsidized that doesn't justify further subsidies on other things, a better action would be to remove the oil subsidies.

It's justified by Iraq and by the huge oil company subsidies. A level playing field.

Is there any truth to it, that there are oil subsidies? I am kind of interested in details of how they are structured.
