I don't see any way of knowing which group is responsible. It doesn't really matter much, anyway. Whatever damage is to be done has been done.

Cogito, the Republicans would have used the video as their "October surprise" if their goal was the White House. It is also very likely that they have used it to derail Obama and then they have held back on the "October surprise" of Hillary.

Irrespective, if Hillary wants to impress the superdelegates, she should have come out and denounced any attempts to draw reference to Obama's race. On the contrary she just apologized to the African-American community the day before the video broke.

As Obama said that those who decided not to vote for Obama will never vote for him. Hence,, I feel, he did not direct that speech towards those folks.

They say "Never try to reason a bias out. It was not reasoned in hence you cannot reason it out."
