Do you believe that people who voted for George W. Bush should retain the right to vote in future presidential elections?

>>When it comes to who should be President, who we elect to hold all that power. I look for honesty beyond doubt. I look for character and the courage of one's convictions. Sadly McCain's glass may only be half full, but non of the dems have a glass.

...

And if you wish to believe that the only time Wright said such was while being recorded and never otherwise, well that what you may believe.

...

I have no idea what obame believes. I know he will expose his children to hateful rubbish that I would never allow to stand and does not have the courage to confront a pastor. <<

Thomas -

OK, so you either believe that all Dems are completely dishonest, or just the two who are left competing for the nomination. You're entitled to your opinion, but it really doesn't leave much of a basis for discussion.

FYI, I didn't claim that the sermons that have been excerpted on YouTube represented the only times Wright made those kinds of statements. I only said that your assumption that his sermons always include such sentiments is incorrect. I know this because I've read at least one of Wright's sermons that don't sound like that at all. You are unwilling to accept Obama's published works and public statements as being what he believes. Again, that's your right.

But it doesn't leave us much to talk about, and I think it says more about you than it does about him.
