Wright referred to the attacks of 9/11 as the chickens coming "home to roost.") Yeah, he's waaay off base there. We know God has made us the embodiment of Jesus in nation form. We know we have the right, no, the duty to conquer the world and make it in our(that is to say Jesus') image. Wonder if Jesus was referring to more than the leaders of his time here: Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Imagine a white pastor saying: "Racism is the American way. Racism is how this country was founded, and how this country is still run. ... We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority. And believe it more than we believe in God." I know far too many folks that do believe the above Imagine a white pastor calling Condoleezza Rice, "Condoskeezza Rice." Isn't Rush the pastor to many right wing whackos? Imagine a white pastor saying: "No, no, no, God damn America -- that's in the Bible for killing innocent people! God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human! God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme!" My hope is that I'm not around to see God's judgement on the US

It sounds like we're gonna have a choice about talking about race, women, or the elderly. heaven forbid we should deal with the serious issues facing this country. perhaps i should start marketing tubs of sand that politicians can stick their heads into. they might be running out of inventory by now. im just upset because my cable tv and internet went on the fritz just in time for the ncaa-s to start. have a nice holiday. brought to you courtesy of the public library.
