There is a foreclosure town home just around the corner from me. It sat empty for several months before a buyer came along. I spoke to the buyer a couple weeks ago and she told me the basement was full of mold. She had it completely gutted, then discovered more mold in parts of the first floor. It's nearly put back together now and will be very nice once finished. It gave her an opportunity to do some major remodeling, especially in the kitchen. It's the same floor plan I live in and I may steal some of her ideas for a kitchen remake around here.
